Experience the product journey in a new dynamic video tour
9th February 2021Guernsey-based Offshore Electronics are making an impact with a short 2 minute video released via their website, as they embrace a new way to stay connected with their customers as well as build new relationships.
Local design agency Rock & Small were commissioned to produce the video for use across all media, showcasing the state-of-the-art production facilities and capabilities of Offshore Electronics in a relevant and dynamic way. Customers can now follow the entire product journey as parts are received, boards assembled, instruments built and finally, tested and checked before being packaged and exported.
The video highlights the number of people involved in the process, the cutting-edge machinery in use and the rigorous procedures in place to ensure the highest quality products, meeting ISO9001: 2015 industry standards. `It’s both informational and puts faces to the name Offshore Electronics,’ explains director Annah Jones, `we have already found it to be re-energising our relationships with long-standing customers which is brilliant. This video is a reminder of who we are and our commitment and pride in our work.’
It was important for Offshore Electronics to stay connected with their customers and also take the opportunity to visually introduce the company to newer colleagues and teams; in a moving industry, new staff of some long-standing customers may not have visited the factory yet, or otherwise wouldn’t normally see the team at work.
Meeting the challenge of an ongoing pandemic and with travel likely to be restricted for the foreseeable future, potential customers who would normally travel to the island now have the benefit of this virtual tour of the factory and the team. Utilising the latest video techniques and craft of videographer James Harrison, with a strong focus on the people behind the products, this short video really 'packs a punch’ and provides a great insight into life at Offshore Electronics.
